Why We Started…
Cayman Growers is the brainchild of partners Travis Houston. He started the tree farm together after Hurricane Ivan destroyed much of the vegetation and landscaping on the island on 2004 to provide wholesale trees and sod to developers, landscapers and nurseries.
Travis has been in Cayman for over 20 years and been in the landscaping his whole life. Family business. Was landscaping superintendent for the Hyatt Hotel and Brittannia Golf Course, overseeing all resort grounds for over 12 years before branching out into Cayman Growers.
Some Of Our Projects…
Located on Savannah (just off Spotts), Grand Cayman.
Located in Crystal Harbour, Seven Mile Beach cooridor.
Located in Camana Bay, near Cayman International School.
Project still in progress.
Our Plants are…
Cayman Growers offers both the largest selection and lowest prices for trees, bushes, sod and plants in the Cayman Islands.
We are able to offer the prices that we do because we grow all of our greenery locally!
Locally grown plants offer much higher quality than imported plants because unlike their imported cousins, our plants do not spend day and weeks in hot shipping containers or transportation trucks traveling to the port.
Our plants are completely acclimated to the Cayman environment – heat, humidity and ground conditions. This means that it is very, very rare for a Cayman Grower’s plant or tree to die after you plant it on your property if you follow our instructions to encourage rooting.
